Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), a global leader in aerospace and defense, will showcase a range of cutting-edge systems at the IDEX and NAVDEX exhibition in Abu Dhabi from February 17-21. As part of the Middle East's largest defense exhibition, IAI will present advanced air defense, remotely-crewed aircraft, satellite systems, naval combat suites, and a variety of sensors, including radars, electro-optics, and electronic warfare systems, while deepening partnerships in the region.

Boaz Levy, IAI’s President and CEO, expressed excitement about the event: “We look forward to presenting our solutions across air, sea, land, and space, highlighting innovative technologies addressing current and future challenges. Our participation underscores our commitment to Gulf partners and to fostering progress and technological creativity to create a promising future for the region.”

Among the systems featured will be the Barak ER, an advanced air and missile defense system that includes a vertically-launched interceptor missile with a 150 km range. Barak ER is designed to optimize fire and threat management. Additionally, IAI will present systems for threat detection across all domains. These include the OPTSAT observation satellite, which provides high-resolution imagery for intelligence, damage assessment, and threat detection, and the MMR radar, one of the most operationally-used radar systems worldwide, capable of identifying hundreds of targets simultaneously.

The MPA maritime patrol aircraft will offer a comprehensive maritime image for tactical and strategic missions, while the EW NAVAL system will provide up-to-date situational awareness using a combination of sensors, jammers, and electronic warfare. The Heron MK 2 UAV, designed for long-range, medium-altitude flights, can carry multiple missile types for various missions. Finally, the ALPHA RADAR, a multipurpose AESA radar, is tailored for modern naval combat ships.

IAI’s participation at IDEX and NAVDEX highlights its ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence and partnerships in the Gulf region while showcasing its role as a technological innovator.
