Sentrycs, an Israeli provider of counter-UAS solutions, has secured a multi-million-dollar contract in Latin America for a national defense project.

According to the company, this contract represents the largest installation of counter-drone systems in the region. The first phase involves deploying multiple advanced C-UAS systems to enhance airspace security across critical areas, including military bases, special operations forces, VIP convoys, and national borders. A strong emphasis will be placed on countering narcotics trafficking and criminal activity.

Sentrycs was selected following rigorous trials and operational tests, in which it outperformed over a dozen competitors. A key deciding factor was its ability to operate stealthily—remaining undetectable to third parties during use. Additional factors included the support of a dedicated local partner and a strong reference from an existing in-country customer that has used the Sentrycs platform for multiple years.

The project will incorporate fixed, portable, and vehicle-mounted systems as part of a multi-layered defense strategy designed for maximum operational flexibility. Sentrycs’ vehicle-mounted kits provide discreet, low-footprint protection, making them ideal for mobile operations such as safeguarding VIP convoys and conducting special forces missions. These advanced solutions integrate Sentrycs’ Cyber over RF capabilities with an additional jamming layer required by the end-user for potential escalation scenarios.
