At the ADEX 2024 military exhibition held last week in Baku, Azerbaijan showcased a SandCat armored vehicle manufactured by the Israeli company Plasan, equipped with four of Rafael's Spike NLOS anti-tank missile launchers.

According to Army Recognition, military research institutes report that between 2015 and 2018, Azerbaijan acquired 100 SandCat armored personnel carriers (APCs) as well as 10 "Sandcat" vehicles equipped with 120 mm self-propelled mortars.

In the past, there have been reports that SandCat vehicles participated in the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the Nagorno-Karabakh region. Armenian sources even claimed in October 2020 that the Armenian army had destroyed a vehicle of this type.
