Robotican, an Israeli developer and manufacturer of autonomous robots and drone systems, announced that in 2024 it made sales transactions amounting to dozens of millions of NIS for over 50 robotic systems (each system includes three "Rooster" drones) to NATO alliance armies and the IDF. These systems will be operational within the next six months, following professional training by Robotican in collaboration with NATO alliance armies. The Rooster systems have played and continue to play a significant role in the activities of IDF units in the "Iron Swords" war.

According to Robotican, the company's tactical drone systems are specifically designed for special unit operations, including underground and confined space activities. The drones can both roll on the ground and fly, making them hybrid drones—part drone, part robot.

As mentioned, each system consists of three "Rooster" drones. This means that each "Rooster" acts as a relay station, allowing the system to be divided into three parts for reconnaissance, encirclement, or any other task requiring a different or changing perspective on a particular event. Additionally, the system includes a control unit to manage the three drones.
