Turkey unveils new loitering munition

According to the local press, test flights have already been carried out, and the next stage will be live armament tests

Turkey’s defense industry has introduced its new loitering munition (kamikaze drone), called AZAB T-200. According to experts in the west, this drone is an almost-exact replica of Iran’s Shahed-136, which is sold to Russia and employed in the war on Ukraine.

According to EroAsian, Turkey’s new kamikaze drone can carry a 15 kg. warhead and has a 200 km range. This multi-purpose aircraft is manufactured by Robit Technologies.

Turkey’s “Daily Sabah” reports that the AZAB T-200 has delta-shaped wings, and that it has successfully carried out its first test flights. The next stage, according to the daily, will be live armament tests.
