Israeli Ministry of Defense finalizes “Eitan’ APC procurement agreement
Oshkosh defense will produce hundreds of hulls in a deal valued at over $100 million, financed by US aid funds

The Israeli Ministry of Defense signed an agreement with Oshkosh Defense to produce hundreds of hulls for the IDF's new wheeled Armored Personal Carrier (APC), the “Eitan.” The deal is valued at over $100 million and is financed by US aid funds.
The "Eitan" APCs were developed by the Israel Ministry of Defense Tank and APC Directorate. The hulls are expected to arrive in Israel in about a year and a half and will be immediately delivered to the production line.
Once fully assembled, the hulls will be transferred for operational use in the IDF, significantly increasing the overall number of APCs. The Ministry of Defense will deliver the first operational "Eitan" APCs to the IDF's "Nahal" Brigade within the coming weeks.
On Israel’s part, the agreement was signed by Brig. Gen. (Res.) Michel Ben Baruch, Head of the IMoD Procurement Mission.
