SCD USA announced this week (Monday) that Northrop Grumman Corporation has selected SCDUSA to provide the InfraRed (IR) solution to support its Next Generation Handheld Targeting System (NGHTS) for the United States Marine Corps (USMC).

According the company, the SCDUSA's high performance and small Size, low Weight and Power (SWAP) infrared imaging solution, part of SCDUSA's “Sparrow” product family, selected by Northrop Grumman, demonstrated compelling features, which enabled the NGHTS system to meet the USMC's demanding imaging and SWAP requirements.
