Baltics order HK assault rifles

German small arms manufacture Heckler & Koch recently received a number of orders from the Baltic States. According to the German website Soldat & Technik, the Latvian Army ordered additional HK417 sniper rifles worth 3,433,878 euros.

Latvia already uses the HK417 in a semi-automatic version as a sniper rifle, equipped with a Schmidt & Bender ZF 3-20 x 50 PMII.

The website also reports that he Lithuanian procurement authority has again commissioned Heckler & Koch to supply spare parts for HK416 assault rifle in the value ​​of around 1.4 million euros.

Last week, we reported that the company continue to supply the French Army with HK416F assault rifles as part of the Army's program to equip with 117,000 rifles of this model.
