Swedish company Saab announced last week that it has received a large order for shoulder-fired Carl-Gustaf M4 recoilless rifles and ammunition. The order is valued at approximately 90 million euros, with deliveries scheduled to take place in 2022. The customer's identity was not released.

According to the company, since the introduction of the Carl-Gustaf M4 in 2014, Saab has signed contracts to supply it to fourteen different nations. The weapon system can use a wide range of ammunition and therefore offers armed forces a high degree of tactical flexibility in combat.
