Satellite images show damage to roof of building at site belonging to Iran's atomic energy organization

On June 24, the Israeli media reported that an Iranian facility, where parts of centrifuges are allegedly manufactured, was damaged in an operation attributed to Israel. However, no empirical evidence was provided. Well, yesterday (Saturday) a report on Twitter by intelligence company The Intel Lab provided proof of damage at a building in the facility.

The report, based on satellite images from Airbus, show that ever since June 26, the roof of a certain building at the facility has been partially damaged. Work was carried out to take apart a section of the roof, and several days afterward, on July 1, the entire section of the roof was removed from the building.

According to the analysis, the satellite images revealed signs that a fire had taken place in the part of the building where the roof was removed. However, the analysis did not determine the extent of the damage, the reason for the removal of the roof or, if the damage was caused by sabotage, whether it was carried out by a source inside or outside the facility.

According to a report by the iranwatch.org website in 2011, the site called the TABA complex started operating in the years 2006-2007 as part of the Iranian military nuclear development program. According to the same report, the warehouse missing part of its roof is called Ghalaviz, and it holds bellows and classified documents.

The photos are from a 2011 report by the globalsecurity.org website.
