It has become known to Israel Defense that a number of defense companies in Israel have been under cyberattack since last Thursday. The attack is on the external systems of the companies, but the internal classified networks have not been hit.
The source and the entry vector of the attack were not clear but sources report that it is possible that the incident is connected to recent phishing attacks targeting Israeli companies.
There was no comment from the Defense Ministry on the report.
