Defense minister meets head of Egyptian General Intelligence Service

Gantz briefed the head of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service on the principles of defense policy formulated by the Israeli security establishment

Defense Minister Benny Gantz met Sunday evening with the head of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service, Abbas Kamel, and a senior delegation that accompanied him. Gantz was joined by the Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Amir Eshel, and the head of the Political-Military Bureau, Zohar Palti.   

Gantz briefed the head of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service on the principles of defense policy formulated by the Israeli security establishment.  

The defense minister thanked the head of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service and asked him to convey his appreciation to the president of Egypt for the efforts to restore quiet and stability to the region, as well as for the special defense ties between the two countries.
