Oshkosh to supply heavy tactical vehicles to Egypt

The company will deliver tankers, recovery trucks and transporters worth more than $26 million

Military vehicle producer Oshkosh Defense was awarded a contract from the U.S. Army Contracting Command to supply new heavy tactical vehicles worth more than $26 million to the Egyptian Army. The contract was awarded as part of the U.S. Army’s Foreign Military Sales program.

The Defense Blog website reported that Oshkosh's delivery to the Egyptian Army will consist of M978A4 Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck Tankers, M984A4 Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck Wreckers and M1070A1 Heavy Equipment Transporters.
