Two more B-52 bombers from the U.S. Air Force landed yesterday at Al Udeid base in Qatar to provide security for the withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan that will begin on May 1. 

The U.S. Air Force announced that the two Stratofortress bombers arrived in Qatar after a flight from North Dakota, joining a pair of bombers that arrived several days ago.  

The force made up of four bombers is responsible for protection, security and defense of the U.S. and NATO forces that will withdraw from Afghanistan. The withdrawal of forces will continue from May 1 until September 11.
