After selling the Hermes 900 (known as the "Kochav" in the IDF) to the Philippines and Azerbaijan, Elbit is competing for a similar sale in another country in Asia. According to a report by journalist Udi Etsion, Elbit is competing with Israel Aerospace Industries.
Etzion said that the country where the competition is taking place already operates the Hermes 450. The assessment is that the country in question is very friendly to Israel.
