The Spanish Army will purchase 1,200 Romeo 4T red dot holographic sights made by Sig Sauer Global for 483,516 euros. It marks the first time for the Army to procure equipment from the US-based handgun manufacturer.
The Spanish website Defensa.com reported that several Spanish Army units, such as the Almogávares VI Paratroopers Brigade, the Galicia VII brigade, and the Experiences Unit of the Special Operations Command, tested the sights for months in different geographical settings and climates.
