Russian Army to receive over 400 armored vehicles this year
The Army will get advanced T-72, T-80 and T-90 tanks, as well as infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers, Russia's Defense Ministry says

The Russian Defense Ministry announced this week that units of the country's Army will receive more than 400 armored vehicles in 2021. The Army will get T-72B3M, T-80BVM and T-90M tanks, BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), upgraded BMP-2M IFVs with the Berezhok combat module, and BTR-82A armored personnel carriers, according to the ministry.
The Army Recognition website said that last year Army units were to receive more than 460 improved BTR-82A armored personnel carriers and upgraded BTR-82AM APCs, over 35 Msta-SM self-propelled artillery systems with an automated fire control system, more than 120 upgraded T-72B3M tanks, and over 30 Taifun 4×4 armored vehicles. So far, there has been no mention of T-14 Armata tanks and T-15 Armata IFVs.
