Meprolight USA announced this week a new reflex sight, the MOR PRO. It has a 160-degree field of view, various laser pointer options, a number of reticle options and a built-in LED for bright modes. In its announcement, Meprolight described the MOR PRO as highly durable and energy efficient, noting that the MOR family of optics has four independent power sources – Fiber Optic, Tritium and two independent AA batteries. The system is 15cm long and weighs 440g.
According to the company, the MOR PRO can operate under all weather and temperature conditions, day or night, and has a passive self-illuminated system; LED for extra bright modes; an IR laser configuration, visible in red or green; and special cable sensor diagnostics. Meprolight notes that the sight is used by the IDF and other special forces units around the world for optimal aiming at any time of day, including in low-light conditions.
