Israel's RT LTA unveils new aerostat

The Aero-T company, a subsidiary of Israel's RT LTA Systems, has unveiled a giant surveillance blimp. The 24-meter-long aerostat can carry 150 kg and reach an altitude of 1,000 meters.
Development of the aerostat began sometime in 2016. It is from the Skyguard1 family of surveillance blimps. The development included that of the ground station for raising and lowering the blimp, which was also developed and manufactured by Aero-T in line with the company's policy of being a one-stop solution provider. The Skyguard1 aerostat is manufactured at the company's factory in the city of Katzrin.
