MaxDefense reveals first images of the Hermes 450 UAV destined for the Philippine Air Force. The photos were likely taken in Israel.
The Philippine Air Force’s Unmanned Aerial Systems Acquisition Project is a Horizon 2 Phase Priority Project under the Revised AFP Modernization Program. The project was awarded to Elbit Systems to supply the Hermes 450 and Hermes 900 UAVs to the PAF.
According to the report, the Hermes 450 is ready for delivery and Israel is waiting for the Philippine government to send a down payment.
The report adds that the first batch will include two Hermes 450s. The rest of the UAVs are expected to be delivered by the end of 2019.
