Syrian state media reported that Israel fired several missiles toward the town of Tal al-Hara overnight Wednesday, claiming that Syrian air defenses intercepted several of the projectiles.
Located in Daraa Governorate in southern Syria, Tal al-Hara is considered a strategic point overlooking the Golan Heights.
According to the Syrian state news agency SANA, there were no injuries in the attack but damage was caused to buildings. The report did not specify the target of the raid.
SANA also claimed that Israel used technological means to disrupt Syria’s air defense radar systems during the attack.
