The Brazilian Marine Corps (Corpo de Fuzileiros Navais) is close to implementing the C4ISR system that was purchased from Elbit Systems for $40 million in March 2017.

The system, called the SIC2CFN (Sistema Integrado de Comando e Controle para o CFN), will be operated by the Marines Material Command, which received initial components in August 2018. Full implementation is expected by October 2019.

The system is intended to provide marines with real-time battlefield situational awareness over a range of scenarios, including low- and high-intensity conflicts, peace support operations, and humanitarian aid and disaster relief operations.
