FAB Defense Unveils New Folding Tactical Stock for Glock Handguns

FAB Defense of Israel has unveiled their Cobra stock – a new folding tactical stock for Glock handguns that fits Glock's fourth and fifth-generation models, among others.
The primary characteristic of the new product, in addition to the fact that it fits all Glock handgun generations, is the option of folding the stock into a minimum profile. This allows the use of an external holster and ensures quick deployment of the stock to enable rapid, accurate fire. The new stock has a cheekpiece enabling proper positioning of the shooter's face away from the moving slide of the handgun, and the rubber butt pad ensures a stable grip against the shooter's shoulder.
According to the people at FAB Defense, the quick connect and folded carrying options make it possible to convert a standard sidearm into a stable, readily available platform. Handguns fitted with the new stock are easily carried in an external holster with the stock attached in the folded position. Consequently, the new product offers a significant advantage to police and security forces/units where the standard issue service firearm is a handgun rather than a rifle. The Cobra stock has been introduced at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas last January and will be introduced in Europe for the first time at the 2019 IWA Outdoor Classics Show in Nuremberg next March.
Additionally, FAB Defense has unveiled their GL-CORE-S – a new tactical stock for AR-15/M4 rifles. The GL-CORE-S is a small, compact and lightweight stock designed for urban/built-up area operations without compromising stability, comfort, and strength.
The GL-CORE-S stock was developed and manufactured in response to a specific demand from an Israeli specialist counterterrorism unit regarded among the best in the world. The development process was based on the GL-CORE stock FAB Defense had introduced in 2018, but most of the primary characteristics of the original stock have been redesigned so as to provide the solution in accordance with the requirements of the specialist unit. The people at FAB Defense stress that the counterterrorism specialists of the unit approached them after failing to find the perfect solution that would meet all of their needs anywhere in the world market. As the stock was designed to fit firearms used in both civilian and military applications, it is suitable for all M4 style assault rifles fitted with a buffer tube.
