Cybertech LATAM Draws over One Thousand Participants

The third annual Cybertech Latin America in Panama Conference and Exhibition was held on Thursday, bringing together thought leaders, top executives, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers under one roof

Following the successful events in 2017 and 2018, Cybertech returned to Panama for Cybertech Latin America 2019, which was held on Thursday at the City of Knowledge with the participation of more than 1,000 people.

Representatives of over 30 companies from Israel, the US, Europe, and Latin America participated in the event, as well as official delegations from ten countries around the world.

Cybertech Latin America attendees enjoyed sessions from a variety of relevant topics, among them finsec, critical infrastructure, cyber at the national level and fostering entrepreneurship. Participants included technicians, c-level, and executives from all vectors of industry and government. Among the keynote speakers was the Ambassador of Israel in Panama, H.E Reda Mansour.

Another high-profile speaker was Brig. Gen. (res.) Nadav Zafrir, former commander of the elite IDF Unit 8200 and the founder of Team8. After his address, he participated in a fireside chat with Stanley Motta, Chairman of the Board, Copa Holdings.

The unique value of Cybertech Latin America in Panama lies in the integration of the academic, governmental, technological and commercial. Cybertech LATAM 2019 provided opportunities for learning from experts at the highest level, but also connections to the newest and most innovative young startups.

Cybertech LATAM featured exhibition space for startup companies alongside the conference sessions, including the unique Cybertech “Innovation Pavilion” for startup companies and the startup pitch contest.
