Rafael to Trial Trophy APS on Leopard 2 Tank

The details were disclosed at the International Armored Vehicles event currently taking place in London. Rafael had already tested the Trophy active protection system on the Leopard three years ago, and the upcoming trial is likely aimed at targeting new customers

Rafael Advanced Defense Systems will reportedly trial its Trophy active protection system (APS) on the Leopard 2 main battle tank this year, Monch reported Wednesday.

The details were disclosed at the International Armored Vehicles (IAV) event currently taking place in London, UK. The trial is apparently intended for new customers.

Rafael also unveiled possible Trophy configurations for the Boxer 8x8.
