The Israel Air Force received two more F-35I “Adir” stealth fighter jets on Sunday, bringing the total number of advanced aircraft in the Golden Eagle Squadron to 14.

The two fifth-generation jets landed at the IAF Nevatim airbase.

So far, Israel has agreed to buy 50 F-35s from the United States, which are scheduled to be delivered by 2024.

In May, IAF Commander Maj. Gen. Amikam Norkin announced that Israel had used the stealth fighter jet in combat, which he said made it the first air force in the world to do so.
