Bulgarian Security Forces Detained Three Iranians with Fake Israeli Passports

The Bulgarian Border Police caught three Iranians who tried to enter the country with fake Israeli passports on October 31, Border Police spokesperson Lora Lyubenova told the local Focus News Agency. 

According to the Bulgarian site Noinvite.com, the three men arrived at Kapitan Andreevo checkpoint by bus and were detained in the police department in Svilengrad. In the course of the investigation, they were identified as Iranians aged 21, 28 and 32. The men had been transferred to a facility for the temporary detention of foreigners in Lyubimets. Fast-track proceedings against them had been initiated.
