The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) arrived in Haifa, Israel, on June 21, 2018, for a scheduled port visit to enhance US-Israeli relations as the two nations work together to strengthen regional security and stability.

Strengthening partnerships during the port visit to Haifa demonstrates enduring relationships while seeking opportunities to enhance our interoperability, according to the US 6th Fleet’s website.

USS Donald Cook, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, operates under the US 6th Fleet in support of regional allies and partners, and US national security interests in Europe and Africa.
