Silver Shadow, the Israeli manufacturer of the Gilboa rifle series and the parent company of Corner Shot, announced the completion of the production of the first batch of the Gilboa Double-Barrel Snake rifle manufactured by the company's US factory.

The Gilboa DBR Snake, based on the AR platform, is able to fire from two separate systems at once or alternately using side-by-side triggers. The lower receiver is made from composite material, making the gun lighter. The rifle is fed by two standard 5.56X45 mm mags with or without a coupler, has one mag catch, one charging handle and one safety for both sides and has two bolt catches and two ejection ports on either side of the rifle.

The Israeli version has been produced for several years and marketed by the company worldwide. Sources in Silver Shadow report that the waiting list for the rifle in the US is very long and comprises thousands of people. The sources add that the first shipment was sold out before the rifle left the factory.

The first rifle manufactured in the US at the company's factory is the Gilboa M43. The rifle has already been sold to several government units and has been marketed to the US civilian market for over a year. In the wake of the high demand by the US civilian market, the company decided in mid-2016 to start manufacturing the rifle in the US together with a local distributor.
