Israeli companies Elbit Systems and Gaia are offering an armored fighting vehicle to the Philippine army under the Horizon 2 phase of the Revised AFP Modernization Program.

According to a report by MaxDefense, the offer is for an AMIR 6x6 armored vehicle (made by Gaia) fitted with Elbit Systems' UT30 unmanned turret. The AMIR 6x6 is a modular platform that can be fitted with numerous weapons, including RCWS, mortar launchers, missile launchers, manned and unmanned turrets, and more.

The report also reveals that Gaia, represented by a local company, made a separate offer using the same vehicle but with a different unmanned turret (possibly from IMI Systems).
