The Pentagon has awarded Raytheon a $31.4 million contract to supply tube-launched optically-tracked wireless-guided (TOW) missiles to Saudi Arabia and Lebanon, according to a report on Defense World. Work is scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2018.

Tube-launched, optically-tracked, wireless-guided missiles are ground-launched heavy anti-armor missiles. The system is operated by over 40 armed forces around the world.

According to the report, the US Army integrates the weapon with several armored vehicles including the Stryker, Bradley Fighting Vehicle, and ITAS High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle.
