This year, for the first time in Israel, the ISA pavilion showcased an "escape bus" – a challenging, state-of-the-art "escape room" fitted into a bus. Creative, out-of-the-box thinking conference attendees responded to the challenge presented by ISA. During the first day of the conference, hundreds of visitors to the ISA pavilion took the escape bus challenge and subsequently stated that "reality actually surpasses fiction."

Conference attendees who visited the ISA pavilion were presented with such proposals as "Join ISA to become a licensed hacker," or "Become a fully authorized cyber operator" – these are the things ISA offers its employees in the fields of cyber and technology.

New start-uppers calling at the ISA pavilion were told that ISA, in an era where cyberspace is a terrorism and espionage arena to all intents and purposes, is required to be creative, groundbreaking and primarily – always positioned at least one step ahead of the opposition. High-quality manpower, they say at ISA, is a mandatory prerequisite for meeting those challenges.

During his visit to the conference, ISA Chief Nadav Argaman said: "High-quality intelligence, cutting-edge technology and first-rate human capital are the prerequisites for the service meeting the challenges it faces for the purpose of defending the citizens of the State of Israel.

"The ISA cyber technology setup is at the forefront of global technology. Not many people are aware of the fact that one-quarter of the ISA's manpower is made up of technological specialists. It is a never-ending start-up enterprise. The products of this setup are manifest in the field of prevention as well as in the field of intelligence collection. Many terrorist attacks were prevented owing to quality intelligence received through the ISA cyber technology setup and the excellent individuals who operate it.

"ISA is looking for the very best and for this reason we decided to participate in the CyberTech Conference, which is attended by the best cyber technology minds from Israel and from around the world. I have no doubt that the connection between the people of ISA's cyber and technology setup and commercial companies from the civilian market constitutes a force multiplier, whose products form a significant element in the covert activity of ISA in cyberspace – for the benefit of Israel's national security."
