Eli Alfassi Appointed as Executive VP Marketing of IAI

Joseph Weiss, President and CEO of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) announced the appointment of Mr. Eli Alfassi as the company's Executive VP Marketing. Mr. Alfassi is currently Executive VP for IAI's operations in India and following his appointment to the position of Executive VP Marketing, the two operations will be merged under his responsibility.

Col. (res.) Alfassi served for the last twelve years in a range of roles at IAI. During the last four years, he was Executive VP for India, a main target country for IAI's products and services. In this capacity, he directed marketing and sales efforts in India and led business operations there. Formerly, he was, inter alia, Head of the IAI Mission in India.

Prior to joining IAI, Alfassi served for 28 years in the IDF. Among his many roles, he served as a brigade commander, Deputy Commander of the Zeelim Training Base, Head of the Planning Department at the Operations Branch at the General Staff, and was also the IDFs attaché and Head of the Ministry of Defense delegation in India. Within his capacity as Executive VP Marketing, Alfassi will direct all sales activities of the various IAI Groups and Divisions and relations with its many customers around the world.

Joseph Weiss, IAI’s President and CEO congratulated Eli Alfassi on his appointment.
