Robert Foglesong Appointed New CEO of IAI North America

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) recently appointed Robert Foglesong as CEO of its US subsidiary IAI North America. Foglesong is also the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Stark Aerospace, a subsidiary of IAI North America.

Joseph Weiss, President and CEO of IAI, said “Doc Foglesong’s background, decision-making abilities and industry knowledge make him an excellent choice for the job. His new position is important to IAI in determining the future direction of product and business development in the United States.”

Foglesong is a retired General from the United States Air Force. He served in various jobs in the Air Force to include the Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Commander of United States Air Forces in Europe, and Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. After retiring from the Air Force, he served as the President of Mississippi State University and as an independent director on numerous Board of Directors across a variety of businesses. Foglesong has a PhD in Chemical Engineering, an MSChE, and a BSChE from West Virginia University and several honorary doctorates.
