New Maritime Surveillance Radars

Israel Aerospace Industries will display a variety of unique naval defense solutions at the upcoming Euronaval International Naval Defense and Maritime Exhibition, including two new additions to IAI's Maritime Surveillance Radar family

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) will display a variety of unique naval defense solutions at the upcoming Euronaval International Naval Defense and Maritime Exhibition, to be held in Paris from October 27-31.

IAI will present advanced radars, missiles, electro-optical payloads for maritime intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions. Models of IAI's Super Dvora Mk 3 fast patrol boat and Super Heron UAV will be presented as well as "KATANA" – IAI's new unmanned combat marine system for Homeland Security (HLS) applications.

IAI places an important emphasis on total solutions for the protection of Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZ), including - harbor security, patrol of shallow coastal and territorial waters, surface and electronic warfare, and offshore platform protection of strategic infrastructures such as gas and oil rigs and pipelines.

IAI has expanded its Maritime Surveillance Radar family. Models of two new additions to this family – the ELM-2022ES radar and the ELM-2022ML lightweight radar – will be displayed for the first time, at Euronaval. The ELM-2022ES can be installed on various mission aircraft, and be operated for a variety of military and maritime law-enforcement missions. The ELM-2022ML, weighing only 50kg, uses a unique front-end design in which most of the radar components are installed directly on the mechanical antenna array.
