Avi Peer, who has served as CEO of the Israeli company Thermal Beacon for the past 11 years, will leave his position this Thursday. He will be replaced by Gil Goldberg, the CEO and owner of Goldtec Technologies, which holds 50% of Thermal Beacon's shares.
The other 50% of the company's shares are held by VGEM, an Israeli company specializing in lasers and fibers.
A developer and manufacturer of laser and IR detection and identification measures, Thermal Beacon is known for its production of Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) laser markers for identifying forces and systems for marking targets in the field, among other things. The company's products are also integrated in the advanced M-19 HD high definition electro-optic system produced by Israel Aerospace Industries.
