Lockheed Martin has appointed Ronen Lago as Chief Technologist for its Information Systems & Global Solutions (IS&GS) business in Israel

Lockheed Martin's New Chief Technologist for IS&GS Israel

In this role, Lago will lead efforts to build Lockheed Martin’s research and development activity in Israel and further strengthen the Corporation’s commitment to partnering with industry leaders, academic institutions and the local start-up community to create internationally renowned technology solutions.

Lago will be based at Lockheed Martin Israel’s IS&GS office in Beer-Sheva’s CyberSpark industrial park, and will partner with the community to create new job opportunities for local talent in the region.

Before joining Lockheed Martin Israel, Lago served as the CEO of Coralbit - Advanced SIGINT & Cyber Solutions and as vice president of research and development at Thetaray. Lago also worked at Sigma Design (Copper-gate) and ELTA, a subsidiary of the Israel Aerospace Industries.

Lago is a Talpiot graduate and served in the 8200 Intelligence Unit as a Communication research team leader and a cyber-solution architect. Lago holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering and master’s degree in Computer & Business Management from the Ben Gurion University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Math Science from the Hebrew University - Talpiot Project IDF.
