Indonesia to Acquire Pandur II APCs with Elbit Unmanned Turrets

Czech defense firms won a contract to deliver the armored personnel carriers between 2021 and 2022. The Pandur II is said to have met the Indonesian military's criteria for combat-proven vehicles with high ballistic and mine resistance, floating capability, and good cross-country mobility in difficult terrain.  

Elbit Systems Awards Mortar Fire Control Tablet Contract to Leonardo

The $20.6 million contract was awarded to the Arlington, Virginia-based contractor by the American subsidiary of Israel's Elbit Systems. The advanced tablets are used with software enabling troops to interact with the mortar firing system, thus reducing the time it takes soldiers to prepare and fire rounds.

Preliminary Reconnaissance

The IDF Nahal Brigade has recently introduced a cutting-edge simulator intended to provide a tool for the assessment and selection course the Brigade holds for new candidates for their reconnaissance battalion. "The idea is to simulate challenges that may be encountered on the battlefield"
