New report: China expanding its online disinformation campaign

Cyber defense company FireEye, which first identified the campaign in 2019, reports that tens of thousands of accounts in different languages have been observed recently on a variety of platforms aimed at promoting Chinese interests and destabilizing the U.S.

UN servers hit by cyberattack 

The goal of the attackers was not to damage the systems or demand ransom, but rather to collect information that they could use later or sell to other malicious actors. The spokesman for the UN secretary-general said the organization is "frequently targeted by cyberattacks"
