Another form of Cyber Mining is a malicious malware that latches onto a miner and locks a device the moment it is mined, acting as a kind of ransomware.

"Our updated technology answers the call put out by the cryptocurrency community to prevent malware from harming crypto mining activities," said Israel Levy, CEO of BUFFERZONE. "We are proud to be at the forefront of this issue, deploying our proprietary virtual container to prevent the malware from shutting down and damaging mining activities."
