RT Aerostat Systems, an American wholly-owned subsidiary of the Israeli aerostat company RT LTA, has completed a successful two-day demonstration of the company's leading aerostats at the company's local training facility in Texas, USA.

In front of representatives from 23 different American agencies and organizations, including the US Congress, US federal agencies, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Homeland Security Forces, disaster management forces and the Texas police, the company presented its newest micro platform, the SkyStar 110 micro-tactical aerostat system, as well as the SkyStar 180 small tactical aerostat. Both aerostat systems are members of the SkyStar family of aerostats, which have already accomplished more than 1.5 million operational hours worldwide.

"Based on extensive market research that we have conducted, we believe that the SkyStar 110 micro-tactical aerostat is an ideal platform for the US market," said Rami Shmueli, RT's CEO. "We see great importance in the US market, and the need for RT's high-end aerostats is evident through the increase in our sales in this region."

"The night after the demonstration in Texas, RT's local staff was rousted to assist a local SWAT team to take over an active shooter who fired all over at the city outskirts," Shmueli added.
