BIRD Aerosystems' field-proven Airborne Surveillance, Intelligence, and Observation (ASIO) solution will be demonstrated on a Cessna Citation CJ4 at the upcoming Singapore Air Show. According to the company, this will "transform the class-leading Cessna Citation CJ4 platform into a sophisticated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) maritime patrol aircraft."

The CJ4 with BIRD’s ASIO solution will be able to carry multiple sensor configurations that support diverse maritime operational missions. This will be the first time BIRD Aerosystems demonstrates the ASIO on the CJ4 in the Asia Pacific region.

BIRD Aerosystems' ASIO solution is a complete end-to-end airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) system which provides decision-makers and field commanders with real-time terrestrial and maritime information.

"Equipped with the ASIO solution, the Citation CJ4 jet offers an enhanced solution that is ideal for the Asian market, where the need for effective maritime patrol and coastal protection is salient," said Ronen Factor, BIRD Aerosystems' Co-CEO and Founder.

"The ASIO MPA solution is easy to operate and enables its users to effectively control and protect large areas in the maritime arena," he added. "BIRD's ASIO solution provides the entire operating team with accurate, unified and comprehensive situational overview as well as information they need in order to make decisions in real time."
