Lasertuck – Fobus International's New Holster

Fobus International Ltd., Israel's leading holster manufacturer, is releasing a new inside-the-waistband holster called Lasertuck.

In recent years, the small firearms market, especially in the USA but in other markets as well, is experiencing significant growth. The threat to people's sense of personal security, which has grown globally in recent years, has brought new audiences to carry a personal firearm, mainly for self-defense. This trend resulted in many new small firearms, highly concealable, being released to the market: The Glock 43, S&W Shield, Springfield XDS, Ruger LC9, Sig 938 and others.

The single-stack sub-compact pistols category has become the most popular and fast-growing category in the USA. Another strong trend in recent years, mainly in the USA but in other markets as well, is adding laser sights to these small guns; lasers that are not installed on the gun rails under the barrel, like in full size and compact guns, but rather are pre-installed by the gun manufacturers on the trigger guard. These are the types of guns that Fobus International is aiming for with its new Lasertuck.

David Lenzini, Fobus International's CEO, explains: "The global holster market today does not offer a solution for carrying a small pistol with pre-installed laser inside the waistband. Fobus has developed an inside-the-waistband holster, the Lasertuck, which allows carrying a small pistol with pre-installed laser sights inside your pants. Furthermore, the Lasertuck has a unique internal spring which allows it to accept, in a safe and steady manner, multiple sizes of single-stack sub-compact pistols, thus making it extremely attractive both for users owning multiple pistol models, and for shops which will not be required to keep stock of multiple holsters for the many pistol models in this category".
