Iran Unveils New Tactical Drone

In a ceremony attended by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Iran unveiled the latest domestically made military products, including a new tactical UAV, its first jet trainer, and an anti-ship cruise missile

The Iranian Defense Ministry has showcased new military hardware during an exhibition at the Iranian Helicopter Support and Renewal Company (IHSRC) in Tehran.

Some of the new developments include a tactical drone dubbed Mohajer-6 and Iran’s first domestically made training jet named Kowsar. The Nasir anti-ship cruise missile and the Fakur air-to-air missile were also put on display.

Mojaher-6 is capable of carrying reconnaissance, patrol and combat operations. The drone is equipped with a day/night thermal observation system and can be fitted with two missiles (it is still unclear what kind of missile).
