Several media outlets have published photographs of the Israeli Skylark UAV that crashed Monday in Syria. Judging by the images, the drone was recovered almost intact.

The Elbit Systems' Skylark UAV is used for short-range, tactical intelligence gathering missions and is widely used by the IDF. In the past, there were other incidents where such vessels fell outside Israel's borders.

It is safe to assume that the drone will reach engineers from Hezbollah, Iran, and/or Russia for reverse engineering.

The IDF confirmed the incident to Israeli news outlets.
