Cybertech Latin America in Panama: Special Coverage

The conference, the first of its kind in Latin America, brought together industry professionals, decision-makers, startups and investors for a 1-day gathering focusing on innovative solutions to regional and international cyber security and technology challenges

Foreign delegations, representatives of multinational corporations and international investors have traveled to Panama to gain exposure to the latest innovations in cyber technologies, and take part in the conference and exhibition.

The conference hosted Israeli and international government officials, including H.E. Isabel Saint Malo de Alvarado, Vice President of the Republic of Panama, cyber industry experts and executives from leading companies such as Copa Holdings, Banco General, Israel Aerospace Industries, and Israel Electric Corporation. The exhibition included international companies at the forefront of cyber solutions, and the one-of-a-kind Cybertech “Innovation Pavilion” and competition for young, innovative cyber startups.

  

The conference also featured an exclusive overview of the region with the Inter-American Development Bank, and special sessions on regional issues such as the protection of critical infrastructure and security for financial institutions. Conference themes included entrepreneurship in the cyber world, Latin-American and Israeli cooperation, and technology in the new cyber era.
