Silver Shadow initiated Manufacturing of the Gilboa Assault Rifles in the USA

Silver Shadow of Israel has recently initiated manufacturing of their Gilboa assault rifle in the USA through a local partner, with the first model manufactured in the USA being the M43, an assault rifle based on the AR platform which uses the standard magazines and 7.62x39mm ammunition of the Kalashnikov rifles.
Silver Shadow manufactures an assault rifle that offers a solution to special forces that operate behind enemy lines and wish to avoid leaving a trail of 5.56mm brass, to military instructors from Western countries who train units in third-world countries whose firearms are based primarily on the Kalashnikov platform as well as to countries interested in an upgrade for their Kalashnikov assault rifles but do not wish to relinquish their existing inventories of ammunition/magazines/combat vests that fit the AK – only to acquire an accurate rifle, capable of accepting all of the modern tactical accessories (reflex/red dot sights, bipods, assault handles, laser pointers, flashlight and so forth).
So far, M43 rifles have been sold directly from the factory in Israel to several US and UK special forces units as well as to foreign military organizations and government agencies in such countries as Switzerland, Greece, Czech Republic, Italy, Malta, Philippines, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kenya, and Peru. Given the demand from the US civilian market, the Company decided to have their series of rifles manufactured in the USA through an alliance with a local partner, with distribution to be handled by LDB Supply, a leading and highly experienced US firearms distributor. The Gilboa assault rifle has already been sold to the general public and dealers and was even showcased at the last NRA convention two months ago.
At the same time, Silver Shadow won several contracts to supply firearms to Israeli government agencies and security companies, notably the Israel Nature Reserves Authority, The Seagull Company that secures the offshore gas drilling rig, Israel Railways, Israel Postal Authority, Ministry of Agriculture, the Dead Sea Works, H.A.S.H Security and S.N.L – a contractor for the Israel Ministry of Defense.
Silver Shadow continues to develop additional firearms within the same series, notably the civilian version of the double-barrel Snake that features two side-by-side triggers, the 9mm SMG that uses Glock magazines and has an action similar to that of the M4 rifle, the Gilboa 5.56mm rifle and the Gilboa 300 Blackout, the future rifle of special forces worldwide, which uses the receiver of a 5.56mm rifle and a barrel that fires 7.62X35mm rounds that are more suitable for use with a silencer/suppressor.
