Poland plans to buy Thousands of Drones

Defense Minister Antoni Macierewicz said that Poland plans to buy thousands of drones "so that we will able to defend ourselves against every threat"

Polish Defense Minister Antoni Macierewicz said the drones would be used by Poland’s planned new territorial defense forces as well as other military units.

According to Radio Poland, Macierewicz was speaking in Zielonka, near Warsaw, where he attended a show with drones at the Military Institute of Armaments Technology.

Macierewicz did not specify how many of the machines the defense ministry would buy.

He said he hoped that thanks to the drones “our combat capabilities will be such that we will able to defend ourselves against every threat."
