US spends $12 Million per Day in the Fight against ISIS

The total cost of operations related to ISIS since kinetic operations started on August 8, 2014, is $8.7 billion. Since the beginning of the operation, the US has conducted 11,558 airstrikes in Iraq and Syria

The US Department of Defense published new details regarding Operation Inherent Resolve. As of July 31, 2016, the total cost of operations related to ISIL (or ISIS) since kinetic operations started on August 8, 2014, is $8.7 billion and the average daily cost is $12.1 million for 724 days of operations. Since the beginning of the operation, the US has conducted 11,558 strikes in Iraq and Syria (6,657 Iraq / 4,901 Syria). The rest of the Coalition has conducted 3,414 strikes in Iraq and Syria (3,148 Iraq / 266 Syria).
