Hundreds participated in the first day of the Intelligence and Special Forces Conference: Dealing with ISIS and the challenges of intelligence gathering

Hundreds of participants attended the first day of the 1st International intelligence and Special Units Conference opened at pavilion 13 of the Trade Fairs & Convention Center in Tel Aviv. The conference is organized by the IICC (Israel Intelligence Commemoration Center) Association in cooperation with Israel Defense.

Conference participants also enjoyed a succession of fascinating lectures by senior members of the defense establishment and the defense industry, such as Intelligence Minister Yisrael Katz, Head of the Counter Terrorism Bureau Eitan Ben David, CEO of the Ministry of Intelligence Affairs Ram Ben Barak, IDF Chief Censor Brig. Gen. Sima Vaknin-Gil, Professor Uzi Arad and many more

Also the former deputy Chief of Staff, Maj. Gen. (ret.) Yair Naveh participated in the conference, and gave an interesting lecture about the IDF force build-up for intelligence and special forces

The conference opened with a cocktail reception attended by hundreds of senior officials and invitees. Among others were Maj. Gen. (ret.) Amos Gilad Director of Political-Military Affairs at the Ministry of Defense, Mayor of Ramat Hasharon and Dr. Yossi Vardi
